- Disability Plan for Small Business: your company can benefit from coverage for the financial hardships caused by accidental permanent, total disability. If you, as a Sole proprietor, become permanently, totally disabled as a direct result of an accidental injury, you are eligible to receive up to $10,000 in benefits. Benefits increase with the length of Card membership. After two years, benefits increase to a maximum of $25,000. After six years, the maximum amount is $50,000.

The Air Miles Gold Business Card is a travel card for businesses that allows its holders to earn AIR MILES Reward Miles for their business purchases. Cardholders can earn 1 reward mile for every $15 in Card purchases at AIR MILES Sponsors, and 1 reward mile for every $20 in Card purchases everywhere else. Cardholders can also earn Reward Miles twice if they shop at participating AIR MILES Sponsors across Canada with the American Express AIR MILES Gold Business Card and their AIR MILES Collector Card, plus get a welcome bonus of 150 Reward Miles when they spend $1,000 in the first 3 months. This card comes at no annual fee but offers a fairly good insurance plan for a no-fee card which includes travel accident insurance and a disability plan for small businesses. The rate of earning Reward Miles with this card is fairly modest, and it could take a while to rack up enough for a nice reward if you don’t make a lot of business purchases, so this card’s rewards program might be better suited to those who have a lot of travel-related business expenses and can gain Miles faster. However, with no annual fee and some insurance coverage included, this could be worth considering for many small business owners.
