The BMO Air Miles MasterCard allows its holders to earn Air Miles Reward Miles while they make their everyday purchases. For no annual fee, you can earn 1 reward mile for every $20 charged to the card, with double the air miles for every $20 spent at participating AIR MILES Partners. The card comes with no travel insurance, but does include purchase protection and extended warranty. Although the rate of earning Miles is relatively low, holders do benefit from a welcome bonus of 800 Miles which is a nice little gift from a no-fee card, as well as an introductory interest rate on balance transfers of 1.99% for the first 9 months, which could definitely save you some money on interest. The benefits of this card won’t amaze you, but for no fee it is hard to see disadvantages. Cards with an annual fee might be more interesting if you’re looking for something with more benefits and insurance.
