The Scotiabank Platinum American Express Card allows its holders to earn cash back on all purchases charged to the card. Cardholders can earn 4 Scotia Reward points for ever 1$ spent at eligible gas stations, grocery stores, on dining and entertainment, and 1 point per dollar spent on everything else. At an annual fee of $399, this card also includes a lot of perks: comprehensive travel coverage, purchase protection and extended warranty, access to the Scotia Rewards Travel Service, premium 24/7 concierge services, complimentary airport lounge access and unique access to experiences and events with American Express Invites. You can also enjoy special offers and discounts, as well as the option to become a Hertz#1 Gold Member. This card may come with a steep fee, but you’re getting a lot of value if you’re a frequent traveller and want to access premium perks, insurance and a high-earning rewards program. If you don’t need the luxury perks, however, you could probably skip the $399 fee and get a simpler card.
